Belhaven Birthplace of the ICW Celebration
Did you know that the Intracoastal Waterway started in Belhaven 85 years ago this year! On September 21st, the town of Belhaven will have a celebration to commemorate this event.
As part of the celebration, cruise to Belhaven on the 21st. Les, at Belhaven Waterway Marina will reserve a slip for you at the Town Dock or at his marina. Call 252-944-0066 ASAP for reservations. If you decide to anchor out, there will be boat taxis running all day to take you to shore for the festivities. There will be many activities for you to enjoy including a "boat parade", a blessing of the fleet, dignitaries, live music, and local vendors. Please consider joining us for a great day in Belhaven!! Then stay and enjoy dinner at one of our fine restaurants!
